The activity of many enterprises does irreparable damage to environment, disrupts ecological situation and brings serious harm to the health of people. The rights of citizens to the favorable natural environment are fixed by the constitution of Azerbaijan republic, by law “about environmental protection”, and their disturbance entails responsibility before the state and victims. Required ecological insurance is in more detail regulated by the law of Azerbaijan republic “about the required ecological insurance”, according to which, legal and physical persons, that are carried out the ecologically dangerous forms of activity, are subject to required insurance.Insurance company “Standard Of insurance” proposes the insurance of the risk of the civil liability for the harm, caused by the emergency pollution of natural environment in connection with the industrial and economic activity of enterprises.

Objects of the insurance:

Property interests of insurant, connected with his responsibility in the order, established by the legislation of Azerbaijan, to compensate harm to the third persons as a result of the emergency pollution of natural environment, caused by insurant with the realization by it economic- . Negative action on the natural object as a result of the emergency or the catastrophes on the enterprise- insurant, the action of the natural object, contaminated as a result of the technogenic emergency, catastrophe on the enterprise- insurant.
